DESCRIPTION:

“Community Quilt”

This interactive public artwork celebrates the South’s rich quilt making traditions and the spirit of community collaboration. The installation features a grid of rotating panels painted in bold, geometric patterns inspired by traditional quilts. Created in partnership with Artville and the Tennessee Titans, the piece incorporates elements of the team’s identity alongside references to Nashville’s iconic landmarks. Visitors are able to turn the panels, creating endlessly shifting patterns. By blending local craft traditions with contemporary interactivity, the work transforms a timeless craft into a collective experience that is grounded in place and community.
