All hands on deck!

Fort Houston began fabricating these 17' tall hands in 2018 using a metal interior frame for the bones and sculpted spray foam for form. Betsy Littrell and Hines Development were central to the hand's conceptualization, production, and overall logistical oversight. I worked with Hastings Architecture and The Finery to create a graphic, quilt-like composition that reflects the creative spirit and history of the neighborhood, and Art Up Nashville brought it home, transporting and installing these in early 2024.
